Photographs for the years that move too fast.

There’s room here for the quiet ones, the wild ones, the babies who need a minute, the kids with BIG opinions, and the families who aren’t interested in performing for the camera.
Kept portrait sessions are simple, playful and intentionally low-pressure — created to help you feel seen while making photographs that bring you back to how this season felt.
Because remembering what they looked like is lovely. Remembering what it felt like to love them this way is everything.

EARLY EDUCATION & KINDER PORTRAITS
A better kind of portrait day.
With years of experience photographing thousands of children in high-volume early education and school environments, I know how to create a portrait day that can move efficiently without treating children like they’re on an assembly line.
There’s room for the child who needs an extra minute, the one who arrives ready to perform, the serious face, the silly face and the little one who simply needs to watch first.

FAQ

1. HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?
Signature Petite Portraits are short and playful — up to 10 minutes per child — while Studio + Lifestyle sessions offer up to one hour to settle in, connect, and create a fuller collection.
2. WHAT AGES DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH?
Babies, kids, parents, grandparents, pets — pretty much anyone you love enough to want to remember. Petite sessions are especially lovely for children, while Studio + Lifestyle sessions can include siblings, parents, grandparents, furry family members, and the whole crew.
3. What should we wear?
Simple, calm clothing without loud patterns or logos usually photographs beautifully and keeps the focus on the people in the frame.
That said, I also think kids should get to be kids. Some of my favourite portraits are the ones where their own style comes through — so if there’s something that feels especially them, I’m always happy to make room for it.
For Tone-on-Tone Portraits, we’ll plan wardrobe and backdrop together so the whole look feels intentional.
4. WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SHY, BUSY OR DOESN’T WANT TO PARTICIPATE?
That’s completely okay. I work with the child in front of me rather than expecting every child to respond the same way. We can move, play, take a minute, stay close to you and let things unfold naturally.
If you already know your child needs a little more time to warm up, a full Studio + Lifestyle Session may be a better fit than a 10-minute Petite Portrait. It gives us plenty of time to build comfort and connection without feeling rushed.
5. SHOULD WE PRACTICE SMILES OR POSES?
No need. I’d much rather meet your child as they are than have them arrive feeling like they need to perform. I’ll guide them playfully and make room for the real expressions along the way.
6. CAN SIBLINGS AND PARENTS JOIN IN?
Absolutely. What’s included depends on the session you choose. Studio + Lifestyle sessions are best when you want more family combinations, sibling images and time for connection, while Petite sessions are intentionally short and simple.
During Petite sessions, I’ll always do my best to capture siblings together when time and cooperation allow. If sibling or family portraits are especially important to you, I recommend booking a Studio or Lifestyle session so we have the time to create them without feeling rushed.
